Visual Arts represent a broad field of creative practice that involves the hand, the eye, the intellect, and the imagination in conceptualization to create two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks, objects, and environments that reflect the aesthetic, conceptual, and expressive interests of individuals or groups. Learners learn to make practical and aesthetic decisions in the development of coherent pieces of work.
It provides opportunities to stimulate and develop learners' intellect, engage their creative imagination with visual and tactile experiences and the innovative use of material and technology to realize their ideas. It also encourages learners to develop an individual visual language and literacy, which is inspired and shaped through the study of visual culture, past and present.
